The goal of an inspection is to understand the problem — not find a reason to sell a roof. Sometimes a roof needs replacement. Sometimes it needs repair. Sometimes the roof isn’t actually the source of the problem at all. ROOFWORX looks at the complete system, including roofing, flashing, drainage, siding intersections, penetrations, decking, ventilation, low-slope areas, valleys, and other conditions that may be contributing to the failure. Diagnosis comes before recommendation. We still make a clear recommendation and ask for the job — we just let the evidence do the persuading.
We Show Our Work
A homeowner shouldn’t have to climb onto the roof to know whether the contractor did what they said they would do. ROOFWORX documents projects with photos and written records before, during, and after the work. Depending on the project, that can include existing conditions, damage or failure points, measurements, decking conditions revealed during tear-off, flashing details, repairs, installation details, changed conditions, and completed work.
The goal isn’t paperwork for the sake of paperwork. It’s a record of what actually happened to your home.

The Most Expensive Answer Isn’t Automatically the Right One.
Roof replacement is worth more to a roofing company than a roof repair. That doesn’t mean replacement should be the recommendation every time.
If we believe a legitimate repair can reasonably extend the life of your roof, we’ll tell you. If continued repairs no longer make financial sense, we’ll explain why replacement may be the better long-term decision. If the roof still has serviceable life and doesn’t need either one, we’ll tell you that too.

Know What You’re Buying Before We Start.
Construction occasionally reveals conditions that couldn’t be seen during the initial inspection. That shouldn’t mean you get surprised by arbitrary pricing halfway through the project. ROOFWORX uses written scopes and establishes pricing for foreseeable variables when possible before work begins. For example, if roof decking may need replacement after tear-off, the replacement rate is established ahead of time.

Insurance-related roofing projects can get confusing because several different documents and parties may be involved. ROOFWORX keeps the focus on the construction. An insurance estimate may help identify what the carrier has agreed to pay for — it is not automatically a complete construction specification.
Our responsibility as the contractor is to evaluate what is actually required to perform the work properly, document those requirements, and clearly explain differences when they exist. A Manufacturer Warranty and a Workmanship Warranty Aren’t the Same Thing.
Roofing products and roof installation are two different things. Manufacturer warranties primarily address eligible roofing materials and vary based on the roofing system and warranty selected.
